The difference between these reviews is important to understand Recently RateMyAgent were delighted to announce a new feature that enables you to post existing reviews. Introduced in response to your requests, the feature enables you to gather together reviews you’ve received outside of RateMyAgent – such as thank-you cards, emails, your website or webpage, and other review websites – and post them all in one convenient place on your RateMyAgent profile. Using the ‘post an existing review’ feature also gives each review its own URL; making it a powerful marketing tool to use on your own website or webpage and social media channels. There are no more excuses to leave existing reviews scattered around in different formats and hiding their light under a bushel, when you can get them working for you right away by posting them on Ratemyagent.com.au. Verification = transparency and credibility What’s more, the ‘post an existing review’ feature allows you to convert existing reviews into verified reviews. Just like verified reviews that you request from clients, verified existing reviews give consumers confidence that the reviews are genuine. The only difference between the verification process for an existing review and a new review is that – instead of emailing your client via RateMyAgent, requesting a review and asking them to verify that they wrote it – you post the review first, and then ask them to verify it. 'Unverified reviews don’t count towards an agent’s ranking within their suburb – so they don’t contribute towards the agent’s chances of taking out the Agent of the Year Award.' This verification process maintains the high standards of transparency and credibility that are the cornerstone of RateMyAgent. There is no motivation for an agent to ‘game the system’ and post fake reviews, because: Fake reviews can’t be verified. They will remain labelled “unverified”. Unverified reviews don’t count towards an agent’s ranking within their suburb – so they don’t contribute towards the agent’s chances of taking out the Agent of the Year Award. Perception is reality Looking at things from another angle: because unverified reviews are clearly labelled as such, there’s no doubt in the public’s mind as to the status of the review. Every agent knows that perception matters in real estate – and who wants a profile full of unverified reviews? In a nutshell Posting existing reviews not only provides an opportunity to pull together all your testimonials into the one central platform, but gives each review its own URL – generating new marketing opportunities. And, because existing reviews require the same level of verification as new reviews, agents and consumers can be confident that they’re the real deal. It’s easy to start posting your existing reviews. Follow this simple guide, or contact our friendly team via the email below.
